My thing with traveling, not necessarily to "destination" vacation spots like the beach or something, is that I feel like I would NEVER have time to really experience the place. If I went to London for a week, at the end I would be sad because I would want to experience what it was like to LIVE there. Then I think, well, everywhere (that I consider living) has grocery stores and efficiency apartments and all the same junk for everyday life that we all contend with. So would it really be that big of a difference? If I had the opportunity to get a great job somewhere else would I just be forsaking a wonderful foundation I've built here for loneliness and slightly different branding?

So I kind of wanted to hear what other people thought about their favorite places to live. I don't dislike it here. I could write a long entry about what I like about living here.
