Oops - I said "city/town" in the first question hoping to cover smaller municipalities as well. But then I didn't carry it all the way through the poll. Sorry to be misleading/incorrect!

It's true that most people I know live in or near urban areas, so it's nice to have another POV. I'm also sure I know a number of people who would like to move out to the country, but don't feel they could handle the commute or can't afford to buy land. But it's rare.

One thing that really attracts me about the nursing profession is that I might have more flexibility in where I can work.
