OMG WHO WILL GO SEE LIAM FINN WITH ME AT DC9???!

Also contemplating Rush at Nissan Pavilion. Am I going to loathe going to Nissan Pavilion? I've never been.

I swore never to return to Nissan, but that's me.

Re: we had an *experience*
Getting in and out of Nissan is even crappier than getting in and out of Wolftrap. And if it's on a Friday, getting there would be absolute hell.

I have to second Paul: once was enough. And that was 1996!

Re: we had an *experience*
Did you have the exact same experience, then? I think 1996 is when everyone got stuck in the mud during the Prick/NIN/Bowie show.

Re: we had an *experience*
Same show! But I don't remember mud; I just remember it took at least 2.5 hours to get out to Nissan, and almost the same to get home. Bleh, Nissan. Bleh, 66.

I'm not a fan of Nissan Pavilion, and would only go back for an absolutely incredible show that I couldn't see anywhere else.

I had some rednecks yell "Hey Ellen" and then throw a bottle at the back of my head the last time I went to Nissan....so that's nice.

oh GOD. what show was this at? i already opted not to get the tickets because it's $125 for a decent seat and i can just stay home and listen to the albums for free and not have to go to VA.

Maybe! Is Liam Finn, y'know, one of those Finns? I'm sorry. I'm not up on my Finns.

I want to see Robert Plant and Alison Krauss at Merriweather (June 13).

He's Neil's eldest son. It's ten bucks! But it's a weeknight and will be over pretty late, if I had to guess. I bought his new album and I lurve it. He will also be on Letterman in 3 days! His star is on the rise! See him before he is the media darling! Although he kind of already is.

Hrm. A Wednesday. If he becomes a media darling, I wonder, will he sell out? Because $10 is incredibly cheap!! I will ponder this.

I saw Rush at Nissan Pavilion. In the 'nosebleed' section, i.e. the grassy hills behind all the seats. In a torrential downpour. It still ruled. You won't hate anything.

after reading the other comments, yes, getting in/out is a pain. Getting in/out of ANY concert venue of that size is a pain, though.

I don't know what the rest of these comments have to do with Nissan, or what they are actually about at all other than "I didn't like it." I liked it.
