Re: paid jobs only
working at the library was one of my favorite jobs ever!

The paralegal situation could have been amazing, but it was too chaotic for me. It was a fantastic place, but completely disorganized. The lawyer I was working with didn't train me at all, I was just thrown in and expected to figure it out as I went along. Which is fine if I had just been making sandwiches or something, but knowing that by filling out forms wrong could end up with clients being deported was a wee bit more pressure than I could handle. Especially since I had another part-time job, was in school full time and volunteering. I kind of wish I had stayed though, now that I think about it...

Re: Odds & Ends
A long list means you're unable to commit or hold a job for long due to some sort of mental or emotional defect. All those people who say you've gotta be constantly moving on to the next big(ger) thing, you just go and poke them in the eye and then kick them in the kneecap. ^^
Consider also that you're under 40. You can pad your resume later.
