I am up late on a school night. To be fair, I only have to get through friday. I am glad - at the beginning of this week I felt lost and mopey about work, but today was good. I was also feeling lost and mopey about drumming, but you've heard me whine enough about trying to keep to over an hour of practice a night. My back hurts!

Anyways, I am up because one of my favorite coworkers, the one who helped me so much when I wanted to talk about nothing but cars, confessed that she only has 300 songs on her ipod. Oh honey. It will be OK. I'm starting with the 80s collection, since that's what she said she liked.

I've been listening to songs alphabetically on my commute since I gave up on the Dark Tower for now (the cds were due to the library and I wasn't feeling it anyways) and today I got into the "She" songs. She's Always a Woman to Me. She's Got a Way. She's Leaving Home. She's *cringe* *skip* Like the Wind. She's So Cold.

Now I have never understood why I liked this one Rolling Stones song and no others, and I finally figured it out today. I just like it that Mick Jagger is not getting something he wants. I feel good for this cold lady. What did Mick Jagger ever do to me? Nothing. But that mysterious cold lady who can't be rewired, I appreciate for sticking to her guns. Also, I like to listen to Charlie Watts drum, because more often than not I think, "Hey I can do that". Not so when I get to She Walks On Me. *goes to look up who is the drummer in Hole*
