1. This is going to be my next attempt at an alterna-PDA. I can't wait to get a moleskine and try it. My old spiral-notebook to-do list has been gathering dust and I'd lapsed back into trying to keep it all in my head or email inbox. No more! Its only obvious fault is no system to keep adjunct paperwork, like my old notebook had a pocket.

2. There is an JL feed for the 43 folders blog. Added bonus: this person appears to be a Finn Bros. fan. I am already hooked.

3. Reading blogs is time consuming. Word von Wordenstein, David Weinberger.

I'm not sure I understand how it's different than any other blank book, but I'm going to try it anyways!

I sometimes worry that this proliferation of "GTD" theory is in fact a secret procrastination release valve for the people who write it. All the same, let me know how it works out! I have one of those notebooks sitting, unused, on my stationary shelf.

I am already assuming it tells me a whole slew of things I already have learned over the past few years on my own. Nonetheless I'm always looking for a better sleeker more appliable system.

I got annoyed the other day when a friend was asking about things that he obviously hadn't read on my blog, knowing full well I probably wasn't justified in being annoyed. :) But yeah, having a ton of other peoples' entries to scroll through I find myself skimming, just looking for the "highlights."

I have had the very same sense of being annoyed. EVEN TODAY someone was like, "do you know about X thing?" and I was thinking, "I JUST WROTE A POST ABOUT THAT THING A WEEK AGO!" but then I totally let it go because I simply can't read my whole friends list. It would be an entire career of its own. Do unto others, or in this case, don't expect others to do unto you.
