So... does anyone have XM radio? And can tape or record this for me? Or is there some secret to getting this technologically that I haven't fathomed? (That's the first entry there, Ol' Phil, of course.)

I only have Sirius and I'm not sure if that kind of stuff broadcasts on both. I'm thinking not ...

Yes, and... maybe. I'll have to experiment with recording from the web-broadcast that they give XM subscribers but I think it is doable. Were you looking for any particular format?

Okay, here is why XM is a bag of dicks:

- Their antennas are primarily located toward the south, possibly near Mexico. Our townhouse is the northernmost unit in a row, thus making it impossible to pick anything useful up from a an antenna facing south. Much less anything worth recording.

- Their online content, both via the xmradio.com page and the music.aol.com page, does not include the XM Live! channel 200, so recording it over the interweb is also not a possibility.

- Grr.

So it looks like I will not be able to do this, sadly. I have already put a call out to my peeps however, so if we both cross our fingers hopefully someone will come through that can do this.

I am sorry.
