This is one of the better ones they've done in a while. All of my coworkers are up on the sparkly cats, as is David in VA. Sigh.

At least the folks on Icecrown aren't running away without me. Yet.

Alas, I'm still a lowly level-22 character, with no sparkly anything. I'm just happy that I finally make exploding sheep ... if only I could get the resources needed to make them. Alas, my mining isn't far enough along to mine iron ore to get the heavy rock to make the heavy blasting powder. Sadness....

That's on Dalaran, right? Well, you could always come over to Icecrown: I found that once I knew the quests, it took me less than a day to get back to level 10. I'm up to 16 now and am making good progress on catching the gang in the low 20's. :)

So snidegrrl what level are you, anyway (I suppose since this is YOUR LJ after all, we should ask... :) ).

On Argent Dawn I have:
Zuartse - 23 warlock, Guelffyr - 11 Paladin, Safire - 11 Hunter

My whole dark age guild has moved over so it became pretty compelling to stick with argent dawn, although it's hella full and hella laggy.

I think they hadn't anticipated any real demand for RP servers.

I think anacrusis pegged that one. I suspect that word has gotten out over the last generation of games or so that RP servers have a lower weenie quotient, so they tend to be in high demand from us grownups.

snidegrrl, I've got a 13 rogue and a near-11 druid who would be good for grouping with your youngerlings, but my hours are totally weird. :/

Agreed. When I first got on CoH, it's one of the first things I asked about. It's only an incremental difference, but any reduction in weenies is a bonus.

Iron is a BITCH. I feel your pain. Though I'm starting to see the light. Iron Grenades become very feasible in a few more levels, and you can make bunches. (My engineer is 28 now, but I started getting a lot of Iron and Heavy Stone around 25.) I've found Hillsbrad to be a good place to mine for it. Ashenvale might be all right too. Reasonable mobs (level 21-26) and somewhat frequent spawns. Of course, ya need the mining skill, but once you get it, try there. Most of the other places I've found require more sneakiness, as elite mobs guard them. Good luck!

Sneakiness is why I'm totally digging (so to speak) my rogue miner. Sneaking around to some vein you never should've been able to get to is just super-fun.
