I got there first, and started off right by just getting started despite not knowing anyone. I did Jo Dee Messina's "Stand Beside Me". I followed with (I'd say a faithful rendition of) Dolly Parton's "Why'd You Come in here Lookin' Like That?". I'd be the freakiest person that ever loved country music, except that I'm just not that freaky. I then, in a bar where Fox News was playing on the TV and I saw a "Legend of the South" t-shirt with a dixie flag, sang John Lennon's "Imagine". Dedicated to PG county, the blue-est county in Maryland. I finished with Journey's "Wheel in the Sky". Yes. It was a good night.
I am sure CM will have the full rundown in his LJ soon enough. :) Oh, and to the lady introduced as "the slutty grandma", I am so buying her a drink if I see her at karaoke again. She ruled.
