I was bad last night and stayed up til midnight watching the new Salem's Lot. I couldn't help it, it was actually good! Then the other cat shit in my bed again. So I'm really, really tired today. But thanks to panicsyndrome, I won't be too bored all day. I've already moved on to the fanfic. Uhm, I confess I think it's kind of creepy when people write stories about celebrities as opposed to stories about someone else's characters. Eek.

I wish I could motivate myself to use this time for um, good, or something.

I can't wait to get out of here and celebrate traceracer and jwiv!

oh yes: and this morning on 295 there was a big old turtle in the middle of the road, trying to cross. i literally burst into tears. i saw a tow truck stop, and i think he was going back to get the little guy out of the road. it shook me up really bad.

I really thought they did a great job with casting for the latest Salem's Lot although I didn't care for some of the changes to the story line. Overall I did like it.

Last Wednesday I stopped to move a baby box turtle to the side of the road, well really a few feet into the woods from the side, anyway I'm not sure if I'd have been brave enough to try it on 295 in busy traffic conditions. That is pretty cool.

Fortunately it was like 6am on a saturday morning - not so busy :)

Good for you moving that baby turtle :)

Movin' wildlife out of the road is one of my callings in life. I've moved many turtles, even a dazed falcon! (Note: I am scared of birds, especially falcons!)

I am sorry about the turtle, but i know an old man who killed some people long ago when he crested a hill and hit some people trying to move a turtle. I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, but that's another terrible story and i figured it was probably one of those coincidences that i'd heard it and should mention it as a cautionary tale.

Oh if I were to stop, I would certainly be incredibly cautious about venturing into the roadway.
