Last night I was going to post some pictures of the new hair, and what I look like (for Marchers) but then the power went out. This has happened twice this week. Grr. Suffice to say it's reddish and short and actually looks a bit more like my icon now.

Anyone have suggestions for brunch locations in the PG County area? Something appropriate for mother's day?

Also: practicing tossing the softball around would be more fun with more people, we discovered last night. If we do it again, anyone want to join us? Maybe next Thursday?

Re: Guilt, Guilt, Guilt
Usually, I am not this good. Also usually my parents are not in town on mother's day, so this time is kind of special.

Where does said practicing occur?

Yesterday we practiced over by J's but next week, maybe by my apartment unless ten people want to come out.

I put you on the "March" filter - you should be able to see my posts about it now!

I brunched at the UMD golf course for Easter -- it's kinda expensive, but if you tell them you're staff you'll get the discount :) I am staff at UMBC, but they never even checked my ID. Plus, it's all you can eat. Can't go wrong there.

Otherwise, Savory (Takoma Park) is low key and nice (and also all you can eat -- I'm a fan of all you can eat).

We'll likely be tossing the ball around either at my place or Judy's on thursday, you are MORE than welcome to join us. If we get enough people we want to pitch & hit things too.

The Marriot in Greenbelt does a nice brunch. It's not too pricey (like 12-13 bucks).

Ooh, this is also kind of central to Laurel and Bowie... thanks!!

its not PG county, but I'm a big fan of Copeland's in annapolis for brunch. they do a sunday morning jazz brunch. Wait, isn't there one in Greenbelt somewhere? oh no wait, that's Jaspers, isn't it? Jaspers does a decent brunch as well.

I've only been to Jasper's once. But it was pretty good... heh, three years ago? maybe four. :) There's also a Copeland's in Columbia, which might be closer. Thanks!!

I'm not so good with the throwing, but I guess that's the point is to get better. Heh. So yeah, that might be cool!

Go to Mayorga for brunch. Yes, it will be packed, but it's AWESOME. the food is good, the service is good, and I swear you can touch the face of God in the coffee. I could be wrong though. Mayorga is on Georgia Avenue right past that dip under the bridge. They have a web site and stuff. It will be busy, but it's well worth it.
