Last night was spent visiting with Jack's mom, which was actually really nice. She graciously made us some dinner and we chatted until I absolutely had to go home and get to bed. Even though we touched on morbid or difficult topics it was a really nice visit. Also I saw that footage of the guy who was trying to shoot the lawyer around a tree. It was chilling.

Made it to work on time again. Excellent. Noted an additional side effect of working days: alot less smoking. I haven't smoked since saturday night. Haven't wanted to. Haven't had time to. Excellent. Another bonus: time on the metro allowing me to finally polish of these Anne Rice books. I have a long list of things to read after this, and I have no idea which one to choose.

This week's Collegiate Times Cretin is Jim Kennedy for implying that if a girl sleeps around, it's evidence she wasn't raped. My CT Hero, however, is John Robertson, for telling people how not to be dumbasses. As an aside, it's sad that it took me this long to enjoy my college colors. Well, one of them at least.

I so haven't. But I mean, how could I be expected to pass up a straight line like that?

Re: lawyer?
i don't know where it happened or what and it's hard to describe but we saw this footage on tv of this dude who went batshit crazy and started shooting a lawyer who had been getting money out of this guy's trust fund or something. the lawyer was trying to hide behind a tree and the dude was reaching the gun around the tree trying to empty his clip into him. it was fucked up.
