"me_not_you -- what the hell is a/s/l? or am i just left in the dust here?"

"Age/Sex/Location?" It's the laziest pick up line in the history of the world, and only exists in connection with online message boards and sometimes AIM.

I always think they're asking about American Sign Language.

The absence of capitalization leaves me unable to reply.

I don't think the IM topic has much to do with snidegrrl's disdain for the big letters. In fact, I'd say there are significantly fewer capital letters in her average post than the number of periods in them. The only time I have real trouble reading them though is when the paragraphs cover half my page... Ouch!

What's so proper about a noun anyway?

Iou know, I think about what you said to me that one time often. I am just so... lazy. But for a while I was on the ball. :)

I wouldn't lose sleep over it. It isn't like I think of you as less of a person or anything.

Oh, I don't lose sleep but you know, I just like for people to be encouraged not to ignore what I say. Some people more than others, you know. :)

ooh, burn :)

i know. actually, i tend to IM you and debela with caps because i know you will appreciate it. ;)

it is also indicative of mood. when i am confident and happy you see more caps from me. i dunno why!

dharshai -- It has eaten our souls and devoured our identity. I demand nothing less than it's total annihilation from not only the world, but our written and oral history.

I love this sentence.
