le sigh

phrase of the day, from knitting night: "magical genital cheese". also, why, in The Gathering Storm, do they show Churchill in the bathtub all the time?

i wish i were out at nation with my lovah.

sadly, even corona and cheese dip could not solve my cramping problem. and, now that we are done trying to get the cats to wear the Instead as a hat, to bed i go.

There will always be Nations Gothics Club later. I've been meaning to take a week there myself.

I keep telling myself that. I know I will make it back, it's just the repeated well-wishing of the friends and boyfriend before club shenanigans while I work or whatever. I'm jealous... it's something I need to control but I vent a little. :)

I will try the Aleve... is that the same stuff that's in Pamprin? I can't remember.

I normally work 11pm Thursday nights, however I will make an effort to get out there next week somehow...

This is late, but take note for next month! Aleve is good, but what is better is those 'hot patch' things that came with my box of tampex as a free sample. (Ignore the thing that says 'don't stick on your skin') and it's good for muscle pain too!

Oh, it's never too late until menopause. :)

I would use the heating pad, and I may try it again, but because of a weird infection in december I am not willing to heat things up because I worry it will encourage growth of bad things. Sorry I'm being so vague!! It had to do with my colon. So um, yeah. Ew.

Re:
Aw! Actually, it shouldn't have any effect on your core body temperature (which is where your colon lives) just the surface stuff like skin and muscle. But it's probably a good idea to be cautious! I never used the heat pad for cramps, but since it's the time of year when I've been doing a lot of gardening and irritating the muscles in my lower back, I tried the pad on my back one day (stuck it directly to my skin since I'm a cowboy) And I was 100% less sore the next day!

now that we are done trying to get the cats to wear the Instead as a hat, to bed i go.

This could explain why Oz keeps doing what he does in your bed. I can't say I blame him!!

heard this one?
I've never seen the movie, so I'm just guessing, but probably the reason that Churchill is shown in the bathtub in The Gathering Storm all the time is because there's a story about something like that. Once Churchill called a meeting with Roosevelt in his suite. Rooselvelt arrived and asked his entourage to leave him alone with the PM. Then Churchill called him into the bathroom; Roosevelt entered and was shocked to see the Prime Minister taking a bath and quickly apologized. Churchill stood up in the tub and replied to the President something like, "I have nothing to hide from you, Mr. Roosevelt."

Re: heard this one?
Friendster, hardly.

I've just been sleeping more and having more private time lately; all in the name of energy and sanity, and this karmic screw-up, me working.

Re: heard this one?
I'm glad to hear that if it's making you energetic and sane. I do hope to see you some before you depart for the Cali.
