Songs About Birds

So a long while back, I was all into centering playlists around a subject. I have posts about:
crazy songs,
poison songs,
magic songs;
all of which you are welcome, if you weren't around back in 2002-3, to go contribute to.

Now I want to hear songs about/mentioning birds. Here are the ones I have come up with from my collection:

Mocking Bird - Barclay James Harvest
Blackbird - The Beatles
My army of birds and gulls - Betchadupa
blackbird - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Night Bird - Deep Forest
Little Red Birds - Emma Christian
Mockingbird - Grant Lee Buffalo

"Tit Willow" by Gilbert & Sullivan (out of the Mikado). One of the many funny songs out of it, too.

That made me think of "Surfin' Cow" by the dead milkmen... but that one will have to wait for a bovine theme post.

"Pretty Girls" and "Things That Scare Me" by Neko Case both mention birds in the chorus. Otherwise I will have to wait until I get home to look thru my tunes.

Also, the next time *I* post a question about songs that contain [x] I am going to ask you to repost it. Your friends seem to know a lot more songs than mine. ;)

All the songs on Joanna Newsom's album Ys, except the last one, mention birds.

"Yellow Bird" by the folk group of your choice -- I prefer The Brothers Four
"Bee of the Bird of the Moth" by TMBG
"Caged Bird" by the Piltdown Men

And I'm surprised my brain coughed up that last one because I'm pretty sure I only have their stuff on cassette. Ha! Of course it turns out they have a myspace page telling me their last show was in 1991. Now I feel old.
