Shows

I have alot of musical experiences ahead of me in the next month or two. I wholly encourage any east coast Genesis fans to look behind the cut, or even if you are curious, this might be your last chance to see something really extraordinary in the way of a time warp. Of course, I understand if I don't get much company from my friends and aquaintances at these shows because they are expensive. But if you love me you'll think about it for a second before flatly rejecting the idea!

The show at Jaxx however I hope to convince a passel of people to join me for. I'll plug that more as we get closer.

Oct 17-18 TMB at State Theatre in Falls Church
Oct 20-21 The Musical Box at the Tower in Philly
Nov 8 TMB @ Ram's Head Live
Nov 11 Prog Night at Jaxx

I have to say, just reading the Jaxx calendar is a fricking laugh riot. How else would I ever have heard of Cervical Fracture? And I quote from their myspace:

They felt it would be a good time for a name change. Charlie and Dom discussed the new name, looking for something brutal, yet intelligent. Coming up with "Cervical Fracture".

Are you going to both Philly shows? I have a concert myself the night of the 20th, but we can maybe hang out if you will have any other time that weekend. You still have a birthday present coming, btw.

I expect to be going to both. I'm relying on locals to get the tickets so I am not 100% sure. I'll probably be crashing with other show-goers but that doesn't mean we can't get together!! I'll figure it out when things get closer.

Stupid weeknights! Jury's still out on the Nov. 8 show, let me know if/when that one comes close to selling out.

Now the 11th is a Saturday so that might be easier.

Yeah, the 11th show will be fun and non-expensive AND convenient!

I'll keep you posted about Nov 8 although I kind of expect it not to sell out. Jack will be coming to that one!

I don't suppose there's any chance of TMB stopping over to the West Coast?? Pretty please! I'm finally in a place with good music, and I want to see them most of all!

I haven't heard anything yet. All the latest info seems to come out of the Yahoo group. Most of these shows were discovered by driving by the venue or scouring the web for mentions. TMB hasn't update their website in a year!!

I can't decide whether I hope they're being sarcastic, or hope that they're just really stupid.
