I keep expecting there to be a Febreezegate. I mean, I keep waiting to wake up and see on the news, "Febreeze is made of people!" or "Febreeze causes brain cancer!" or something. It just seems too good to be true.

Aw, if all the fish and birds die, we can just clone more, right?

For real. You know there's going to be a whole generation without the ability to use their sense of smell, as a result.

(I await the day when the kids or grandkids of our generation are like, "So. Umm. Let me get this straight. You used to take something called a 'Hot Pocket,' irradiate it for a few minutes - at crotch level, mind you - in a poorly sealed box which would generate a perceptible (and theoretically nuclear) breeze... and everyone thought this was ok?")

Soyulent Green is made of... maize?
"Febreze is a water-based product whose primary active ingredient is a modified starch derived from corn, specially designed to eliminate a wide range of odors. The product also contains minute amounts of alcohol and perfume."

You could ask around on the Febreeze community.

Nature's miracle and white vinegar soak? That's what I did when I had a really really bad cat piss clothing pile.

i'm telling you, get a bucket and do two soaks, first, white vinegar, and second nature's miracle. you can dilute the first with water. only after you do that should you dump them in the washer. I had a small pile of clothes that i had left in a bag with pee on them for MONTHs and was able to completely eradicate the pee without discoloration or anything.
