I really want to like Bender more, but yeah, soft spot for Allison.
And I want to identify with Bender more, but, yeah.

Wait, who was Andrew? I think I meant to answer Bender. Aaaagh!

I saw that film once, and not until after college. And I've never seen Pretty in Pink in spite of having red hair.

Really, it's hard for me to say which one I identified with most, since I was a little bit Brian, and a little bit Allison.

Early in my high school career (summer school gym before ninth grade, for me), I pretty much LIVED a Breakfast Club scenario. We had this small crew of completely random high school kids from different circles who became friends. We had a pot-smoking headbanger couple, a worldly dark-haired beauty who was planning to open a European fashion store in Georgetown with her boyfriend, a perky blonde theatre nut who had been studying dance for years... It was an odd bunch. I'm convinced that they only loved me for my Gatorade.

To answer the pivotal question in "Don't you Forget About Me," no, for the most part, we went our separate ways -- though I was friends with one of them through college, and another one fell for me at our ten year reunion.

But I walked away.

I need to pick this movie up on DVD. Ooh, yeah, also Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Real Genius, Better Off Dead and maybe Say Anything. Yeah.

Am I forgetting any important ones?
